Chief executive and founder
Julian Pace left school at age 13 following bullying, and, at age 21, lost his father, cousin and best friend to suicide. He made a decision to turn his pain into purpose, and founded Happiness Co in 2017, a social enterprise focused on reducing the impact of unhappiness, depression and anxiety in the community. Mr Pace and his team have created programs to increase happiness for schools, corporates and individuals. The organisation now has seven employees, 15 coaches and 250 volunteers across Australia. Mr Pace has also taken the Man Enough program to a number of minesites in WA, focusing on men talking about emotions and preventing suicides.
