Congratulations to all the 2009 40under40 Winners!

Western Australia's top young business achievers were announced to a crowd of over 700 people at the Gala Awards on Wednesday, 18 February 2009.

The First Amongst Equals award went to a gracious winner: David Flanagan, Managing Director of Atlas Iron Ltd accepted the award with heartfelt thanks and surprise! David’s resilience and strong will immediately appealed to all judges.

Master of Ceremonies Mark Gibson from Channel 7 Perth did an amazing job and had everyone waiting in anticipation as the Top 40 winners were announced! The variety of winners from year to year is always outstanding with some of 2009’s winners coming from industries such as mining, transport, accounting and fashion.

This year the Gala Awards night revisited an old favourite – the steps of Parliament House! Guests enjoyed a sumptuous meal under the stars with Perth city lights at their feet. A truly unique way to celebrate WA’s future outstanding leaders.
