40under40 Awards have been recognising excellence among WA's young business elite since 2002
Western Australia has a long and proud tradition of fostering entrepreneurial talent that has become recognised globally. The 40under40 Awards celebrate the passion, vision and achievements of Western Australia's finest young business people and the contribution they are making to the future of our great state.
Since 2002, Business News has been proud to promote and showcase the innovation and endeavours of the next generation of business leaders. Each year the 40under40 Awards has grown and we are proud to see finalists and winners continue to succeed and take their place among WA business leaders. Finalists demonstrate their flair and ability across many industries.
How to enter
Pursue the challenge of being named as one of the forty brightest young stars of 2017.
First, check the eligibity criteria (the 2017 40under40 Awards are open to Western Australian business owners and executives who are under the age of 40, as at 31 December 2016).
Then nominate yourself or someone else online. Once entered, the nominee will be supplied with a unique user name and password in order to complete the online entry submission. Nominations close on Wednesday 23 November 2016.

To ensure yours is a winning entry submission, attend a complimentary submission writing workshop (1.5 hours) which is available to registered entrants. The workshops will focus on entry submissions questions and will address the type of content that should be included. They will also cover general writing tips, such as how to write within word limits, self editing and style/grammar tips. Don't miss this valuable opportunity. The judging process then begins. Winners will be announced and celebrated at the 40under40 Gala Awards dinner on Wednesday 8 March 2017 at Crown Perth.
