40under40 is designed to celebrate the depth of business talent in Western Australia

The awards recognise not only the determination and commercial drive of these individuals but also the philanthropic pursuits that balance their corporate achievements and as such acknowledge their public contributions to the welfare of the state.

40under40 culminates at a Gala Awards black-tie event attended by over 1000 of Western Australia's leading business men and women. In recognising the significant risks the winners have taken to pursue their entrepreneurial endeavours, the Awards venue chosen is always innovative and unexpected.

The 40under40 Gala Awards was held at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, on Wednesday, 22 February 2012.

44 awards were presented at this prestigious event, attended by the Governor, Premier, Lord Mayor and over 900 other auspicious guests.

Spectacular entertainment was provided by the Bent Knee acrobats, Fire’n’Motion, Billie Court, Neo and the Three Waiters. After Grey Egerton-Warburton of Hartleys Ltd was awarded the title of First Amongst Equals, the evening concluded with a beautiful pyrotechnics production.
