2010 40under40 Awards

Congratulations to all the 2010 40under40 Winners!

Western Australia's top young business achievers were announced to a crowd of 700 people at the Gala Awards on Wednesday, 17 February 2010.

The First Amongst Equals award went to Managing Director of Bannister Downs Dairy Company, Suzanne Daubney. Suzanne was extremely gracious to receive the award and the judges were all in agreement that Suzanne definitely proved a worthy winner.

Master of Ceremonies Tony MacManus from 6PR did an amazing job throughout the night, having everyone waiting in anticipation for the Top 40 winners to be announced. The variety of winners from year to year is always amazing with some of 2010's winners coming from industries such as fashion, IT, food, mining and law -  just to name a few!

This year the Gala Awards were held in a venue different to any before, with four walls and a proper roof this was definitely a first for the 40under40 - but always, with a twist!

Guests were asked to meet for pre-dinner drinks at the Loading Dock at Perth Exhibition Convention Centre. At promptly 7pm curtains were drawn to reveal Pavilion 1 transformed into an illuminated Gala Ballroom with lavish white carpet, illuminated bars, white grand piano and a fabulous cigar and port lounge for guests to enjoy.

With entertainment by Perth violinist Bourby, trapeze artist act, creative ice carver and fantastic speed painter Brad Blaze, guests were kept occupied and amazed!

It truly was an amazing way to celebrate the state's 40 leading business men and women!

We would like to extend a special thank you to your sponsors, judges, past winners and the business men and women who put forward nominations. You play a significant role in our state's future by encouraging young business leaders who strive hard within their fields.
