Managing director
Stephen Cornish founded Perth-based start-up Pentanet in 2016, which has its own wireless network capable of delivering download speeds twice as fast at the National Broadband Network. The company started with one staff member and now employs 18, serving over 1,000 customers on its network. Pentanet is rolling-out more than 250 kilometres of fibre-optic cable around Perth to 30 new transmission towers. Pentanet is a principal partner of the Perth Wildcats and through this sponsorship has conducted school workshops on internet safety.
