Scott Dryland is managing director of indigenous contractor NPJV, an unincorporated joint venture between Njamal Services the Pilbara Resource Group. Founded in 2016, NPJV works to provide greater opportunities for the Njamal people, and has grown from three employees to 60, with half of those being Njamal people. The company has won $20 million in contracts since it was founded, and was winner of the 2018 AMMA National Indigenous Employment and Retention Award. Mr Dryland has also created an anti-bullying program called Bully Proof, mentored St John’s Ambulance Operations cadets, and raised funds for indigenous youth scholarships. He teaches Muay Thai boxing and has trained five fighters to state and national titles.
