Former Rhodes Scholar Dr Angus Turner completed medical training at UWA in 2000, before specialising in Ophthalmology which took him over East and to Oxford University. In 2010, he returned to Perth to establish Lions Outback Vision - a unit providing specialist eye health services in regional and remote communities. Dr Turner is on a mission to cure blindness in indigenous Australians. As he says, “94% of all vision loss is preventable or treatable.”
