“The road to excellence is
always under construction”

It’s amazing to realise that the 40under40 has now entered its 8th year and that it has an alumnus of over 200 young over achievers!

From having launched 40under40 in 2002, we are proud to confirm that each year we still continue to find 40 outstanding, young business men and women worthy of the opportunity to be awarded. The standard of entrants continues to grow and in 2008 we received over an incredible 100 nominations!

For this we have all of you - our sponsors, our past winners and the business men and women of Western Australia to thank.  It is your commitment to recognising and supporting the future leaders of this state that unearths WA’s great business talent.

Who will be the winners in 2009?  That’s largely up to you. Who do you know that is under the age of 40 and deserves recognition for their entrepreneurial achievements?  We encourage you to nominate them; they could be a team member, partner, your client, your potential client or your supplier.

By nominating someone you will be developing one of WA’s leaders which may open the door to many new opportunities for them.

Once again, the 2009 40under40 Awards are set to showcase the amazing range of entrepreneurial young people in our great state, Western Australia.  Join us as we celebrate the young men and women turning them into a reality.

First Amongst Equals

40under40 is designed to celebrate the depth of business talent in Western Australia, that's why there are 40 winners.
The awards recognise not only the determination and commercial drive of these individuals but also the philanthropic pursuits that balance their corporate achievements and as such acknowledge their less public contributions to the welfare of the state.

Every year, one outstanding business talent is selected from the 40 winners as the First Amongst Equals and becomes an ambassador for the awards in each year. To see past First Amongst Equals winners, please visit the Hall of Fame page.
