Conditions of Entry

1. The 40under40 awards are open to Western Australian business owners and executives working for a WA based company who are under the age of 40 as at December 31 2011.
   
   
2. 40under40 First Amongst Equals inductees and winners from the previous three years are ineligible to enter.
   
   
3. Entrants must be in a Western Australian business or in their current position for a minimum of two years.
   
   
4. All entries must be supplied online and include six colour photos, jpeg format at 300dpi, high resolution.
   
   
5. Judges decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into.
   
   
6. The Chairman of Judges has right of veto on all final judging results.
   
   
7. Completed entry forms will be treated in confidence and will not be circulated outside of judges, sponsors and selected employees of WA Business News.
   
   
8. All entries need to be received by WA Business News by 5.00pm on the nominated closing date.
   
   
9. WA Business News reserves the right to publish entrants' photos and biographical details.
   
   
10. WA Business News reserves the right to vet and substantiate information contained in entry forms.
    
    
11. Once nominations and entries are officially submitted they are non-refundable but still include 1 x ticket to the Gala Awards Night.
    
    
12. No responsibility can be accepted for lost or misplaced entries and incomplete entries will be disregarded.
    
    
13. The top four - six entrants will need to be available to be interviewed by the Judges in January 2011, to determine the 1st Amongst Equals.
    
    
14. No prizes are exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
    
    
15. The 1st Amongst Equals winner has until the 28 Feb 2013 to use the travel prize. The business class flights are subject to availability and are not transferable or re-routable. Stopovers are not permitted. Flight bookings must be made through Singapore Airlines Perth Office (the ticket must be issued by 30 Sep 2011).
    1. Travel to be on Singapore Airlines services only; 2. The return tickets are for firm Business Class travel on Singapore Airlines to any destinations served by the airline; 3, Travel from Perth is permitted up to 31 March 2013; 4. Tickets to be issued by 30 September 2012; 5. Government taxes are not included and must be paid in addition; 6. Tickets are non-transferrable, non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash; 7. Ticket validity cannot be extended and any travel not utilised by 31 March 2013 will be deemed null and void. Tickets not issued by 30 September 2012 will be forfeited; 8. The award winner is responsible for all travel costs to/from the point of departure, including travel insurance, freight, excess baggage, meals, all applicable government taxes, airport charges and any other expenses; 9. No frequent flyer points will be given as part of the prize.
    
    
16. Submission of an entry form indicates acceptance of the Conditions of Entry. Failure to comply may result in disqualification
