Since 1865 in Western Australia through locally based volunteer groups and Special Works, the St Vincent de Paul Society has sought to create a more just and compassionate society by responding directly to needs identified in the community including food assistance, material aid, budget advice, shelter, advocacy, friendship and support.
As one of Western Australia’s largest charities and volunteer agencies through the support of the community the Society responds directly to the needs in the West Australian community.
The Society provides a number of services that offer comfort and dignity to some our communities most marginalised members, including home visitations, that provide emergency relief welfare to people in need, accommodation and care for people with a mental health diagnosis, support and care for street present youth, education and recreational programs for disadvantaged children, back to school support, refugee and migrant support, overseas partnerships and development, social justice advocacy and Vinnies clothing and furniture Depot and Centres that assist with welfare and household support and provide the community with a well priced shopping alternative.
The Society is made up of committed men and women of all ages and backgrounds who support the mission of the Society and who work together in unity to assist anyone that calls on the Society for help without judgment or prejudice.
Through the generosity of the West Australian community the Society can continue to provide support and care to those that need it most. To make a donation today phone 13 18 12 or log on
