In 2003 Simon and his fellow business partner purchased the long established law firm of Hudson Henning & Goodman in Albany WA. By June 2006 he opened a full time Perth office and became an incorporated legal practice in 2007. Merging with Wheatleys Legal to form the Hudson Henning and Goodman Legal Group, Simon helped create the largest 2 Director Law firm in Western Australia. He has achieved overwhelmingly successful development while growing the firm from 8 staff to 50 in four years. Simons greatest entrepreneurial attribute is not knowing what he shouldn’t be able to do and he firmly believes that focusing on yesterday’s winning results can be a distraction from the pitfalls and challenges of today. One of Simon’s favourite tips is from his Nanna who taught it to him very early on and it is: ‘You will never build your castles on the ground before you first build them in the air’ |
